Curriculum Night:  Thank you to all our parents and students who made it out last night.  A pamphlet was been handed out last night and distributed today so that each student has one to discuss with parents the dynamic school year we are immersed in.

MATH: visit the Math Talk Blog and view the video.  Respond to the guiding questions in the comment section of the post. "What might be some of the strategies discussed in the video that were misconceptions? Describe the frustration Billy was feeling and share any connections you may have."

DRAMA: Brainstorm a short story plot (beginning, middle and end) based on your group focus for the Shadow Performances.  Create shadow images along the wall using your body (movement or tableau) to convey a message.

Voicethread: This interactive program allows you to collaborate and communicate to facilitate and guide your learning as a student community. 

Share your response within one of the recording forums (type it, record it or video capture it):

POETRY: each student has been randomly assigned to listen to a poem written by a peer.  They are to offer descriptive feedback on the sheet provided for Monday October 7th.
